Brett Kalina has over 15 years of investment and development experience in multifamily and single-family homes. Brett was Founder and Partner of Two Hawks Design and Development, a Phoenix-based custom home, remodeling and interior renovation company. Since its inception in 2010, he was responsible for the firm’s strategy and had oversight of all aspects of development, interior design and execution.
Brett’s career includes collaborating with numerous Arizona-based real estate investment companies and is responsible for acquisitions, construction, and disposition of investment properties. The most recognizable collaboration being “The Investor HUB” which connects investors to wholesale transactions.
Brett is currently involved in a number of land development deals from single family, multifamily, hospital and small commercial developments. Brett has flipped over 5,000+ homes and built 100’s of new homes from the ground up.
Brett also is the Founder of the Palette Collective, a creative co-working space for entrepreneurs from a variety of industries such as hair, beauty, food, beverage, and retail to express and collaborate local small Businesses in niche working spaces.

Stuart Mcpherson has over 30 years of construction, investment and development experience in multifamily and single-family homes. Stuart founded SB Dreams in 1994, a Phoenix-based custom home and remodeling/ interior renovation company. Stuart has built ground up and flipped hundreds of homes in the Phoenix Metro area. Since SB Dreams’ inception, Stuart has been responsible for the firm’s strategy and had oversight of all aspects of development, design, construction and execution with in-house construction scopes and preferred subcontractor and consulting partners.
Stuart’s career includes collaborating with numerous Arizona-based real estate investment companies and is responsible for construction, acquisitions, and disposition of investment properties.
During the 1990’s Stuart was an Owner/Partner in a development and construction company that built residential subdivisions, including infrastructure for 3rd party investors. This evolved throughout the 2000’s to partnering in small commercial, medical and assisted living facilities.
Stuart is currently involved in a number of land development deals from single family, multifamily, hospital and small commercial developments. Stuart has flipped hundreds of homes and built many new custom homes from the ground up.

Paul Alessio is President/Founder of UrbanREaz based in Scottsdale, Arizona and serves the real estate development community by providing development and construction consulting services in the Phoenix metro area. Paul brings over 22 years of experience in construction and real estate development including general contracting, design, value engineering, scheduling, planning, entitlement and commercial/residential property sales representation. Paul is responsible for overseeing all aspects of UrbanREaz.
UrbanREaz was engaged as a consultant to Greenlight Communities (2017- 2021) to start a development company and serve as start-up President for an in-house general contractor that focused exclusively on new ground up workforce housing projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Paul’s responsibilities included: Develop the Cabana product of workforce housing apartments; Work with company founders/architects/engineers to develop prototype floorplans, and 2 & 3 story building concepts; Develop “front porch living” concept focused on courtyard centric site plans. Paul successfully designed/bid/constructed/completed 5 ground up projects totaling 1,100 units, and started construction on an additional 5 projects totaling an additional 1,300 units.
As President of Greenlight Construction, Paul developed company processes and procedures; built initial conceptual project financial budgets; developed the organizational chart and hired staff at all levels; built 500+ subcontractor contact database for project bidding; finalized Cost Plus/GMP project contracts; engaged 3rd party safety consultant (Premier Risk Management) and managed monthly reporting; engaged liability insurance broker (USI) and managed project requirements for General Liability and Builder’s Risk Policies; Trained staff and managed detailed monthly lender pay applications and equity reporting.
Paul’s construction experience totals near $850 million of construction throughout his career. Additionally, Paul has operated a separate construction consulting and real estate company representing multifamily, general commercial and residential clients ranging from mixed use high-rise, garden style apartments and single-family residential projects.
